Matthew Peltz is the Founder of Lost Coast. Previously, he was a Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Trian Fund Management, which he joined in 2008, where he sourced investment ideas, led due diligence, and focused on portfolio construction and corporate governance. He has served on the boards of Pentair plc, The Wendy’s Company, Inspire Brands (fka ARG Holding Corporation), and Hu Master Holdings. Prior to Trian, Mr. Peltz worked at Goldman Sachs from 2006 to 2008. He graduated from Yale in 2006 with a B.A. in Classical Civilization. He is a Trustee of the Hospital for Special Surgery. He lives in Delray Beach, FL with his family
